It's no secret that I love everything 90s and when I was growing up I developed a passion for dance music in a big way. Although for most of the 90s I was too young to go clubbing (legally), I used to go to Woolworths, Our Price or Pink Panther after school and buy the latest dance music releases before rushing home to get them on the turntable or play all 7 mixes on CD.
There was so much great dance music around in the 90s, some made it big in the charts, some didn't. All of it will be celebrated in a new two-hour long show I'm doing each week. Whether it be big 90s anthems from Snap, Robin S and Livin' Joy or the forgotten tunes from Acen, Skin Up and Lionrock, it's going to be a great listen for those who appreciate all things 90s that bang!
The first show is available to listen to right now and features club cuts from Faithless, The Shamen, Liquid and even Gina G! The show finishes with 90s dance classics in the mix.
If you love tunes like this, be sure to like the 90s Dance Classics Facebook page for more.
